Cave Temple Dambulla: Sri Lanka's cave temple, sometimes referred to as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is located in the country's center and was inscribed as a World Heritage Site in 1991. 72 km north of Kandy and 148 km east of Colombo are the locations of this site. The complex of cave temples there is the biggest and finest maintained in Sri Lanka. The rock dominates the surrounding lowlands by 160 meters. After breakfast, drive to Tissamaharama, stopping along the way to see the Rawana Waterfall, the Buduruwagala Rock Temple, and the nighttime 4x4 Safari in Yala National Park (most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka, bordering the Indian Ocean) Spend the night at Tissamaharama.
